The IMS Japan Awards, which began in June 2016 to commemorate the founding of the IMS Japan Society, will be held for the 7th time this year.
The IMS Japan Award follows the internationally acclaimed Learning Impact Award (LIA) of the 1EdTech Consortium (former IMS Global Learning Consortium) and recognizes outstanding challenges that have made significant contributions to the use of technology in education. increase.
Achievement of Digital Transformation (DX) in education and learning, such as the realization of an educational digital ecosystem by effectively utilizing the interoperability of technical standards, or contribution to domestic dissemination of IMS technical standards works and practices.
Not only vendors that have provided products and services (including prototypes in the development stage), but also educational and training institutions that have introduced them and implemented innovative practices are eligible. However, it would be ideal if the vendor and the implementing organization work closely together to submit a joint application and present the results of how the vendor-provided technology has brought about a change in the implementing organization.

Purpose and purpose
Since the IMS Japan Award has the character of LIA's regional qualifiers, the selection criteria are determined in accordance with the LIA's selection method.
