Recent progress in innovative educational technologies has been remarkable, and it can be said that the realization of educational DX is progressing steadily, even as its expected form changes. In Japan, certain results have already been achieved with the GIGA School Project in primary and secondary education, and the full-scale use of digital credentials in higher education and lifelong learning. Despite the potential impact of generative AI, the full picture has not yet been revealed, and it is currently the biggest variable and uncertain factor. This year, we will share excellent domestic and international practice cases of digital ecosystems for educational DX, and discuss the challenges and solutions regarding interoperability and localization in each country. In addition to hearing from leading experts from Japan and abroad, we plan to hold a practical workshop on the introduction of technical standards.
